Mummies in Maine (0)
Although the Nonesuch House Antiques Shop mummy seems to have been sold, and may have joined the Niagara Falls mummies, it's still quite a tale:
NYT Dec 1, 1996: It's a Mummy, It's in Maine and After a Furor, It's Still for Sale
The mummy came from the "Morse Museum in New Hampshire. It was brought to the United States in 1925, according to the Customs Service. It was displayed at Benson's Wild Animal Farm in New Hampshire for 20 years before going to the museum."
