Housed in Henry Flagler's former Alcazar Hotel (1888).  Noted for its collection of 19th Century Decorative Art.  It has one Egyptian mummy with mask and tattered bandages tucked away in a glass case.  It appears to be the mummy of a child.

Near the Pier on the downtown waterfront, The Museum of History has had an Egyptian mummy since 1922. She rests in a Victorian-era wooden coffin. Her name is unknown.

A mummy inside a sarcophagus
The mummy is too fragile to be viewed outside of the sarcophagus.  The Egyptian exhibit contains 16 artifacts, the pieces are on long-term loan from the Brooklyn Museum, Lowe Art Museum and private collections.
